We're looking for a Metrology/Calibration Engineer to join a world-leading engineering and technology organisation in Norfolk - supporting accredited calibrations across newly manufactured and existing high-performance products.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a globally recognised calibration team, ensuring absolute accuracy and reliability in every measurement.
The Role
As a Metrology/Calibration Engineer, you'll work alongside senior engineers and calibration specialists to:
Perform and develop calibration methods and techniques for high-level instrumentation.
Conduct uncertainty analysis, control charting, and statistical process control to maintain precision.
Review calibration results and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
Support the maintenance and improvement of the ISO/IEC 17025 quality system and accreditation.
Design and develop automated test and measurement systems to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all calibration and measurement processes.What We're Looking For
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent calibration training/experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a metrology or calibration environment (preferably ISO/IEC 17025-accredited).
Familiarity with MET/CAL software and/or programming in C#, VB, Java, or Python for automation and data analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
A strong communicator who thrives in a team-driven, quality-focused environment.
