Project Administrator (Part-Time)
My client, a Construction Business are seeking an Administrator to provide essential support to our project management team. This role is ideal for someone looking for 2-3 days of work per week initially, with the likelihood of quickly developing into a full-time position. This offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects.
This role is based in Birmingham city centre - so commutable by train or bus
Key Responsibilities:
* Document Management: Uploading and organising project documents on
* SharePoint &; Server as per the standard folder structure and notifying project teams of new additions or updates. This also includes downloading Tender
* Packs &; Tender Addendums upon their release.
* Administrative Support: Providing general administrative assistance to the project management team, which may include badging documents, setting up document templates, and occasionally taking meeting minutes.
* File Alignment: Assisting in aligning Trad project folders with new folder structure, ensuring consistent and correct document filing for our internal team and external consultants.
* Site Support & Procurement: Liaising with Site Managers to maintain project site supplies and equipment, processing orders through approved suppliers as needed. This can also include liaising with approved Hire Equipment providers for any hire requests from site.
* Communication & Inquiries: Assisting with handling incoming calls and inquiries related to ongoing projects.
* Supplier &; Contractor Support: Helping to set up new suppliers and maintain contractor records on Swift.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth administrative operation of our projects
and maintaining efficient communication across our teams and external partners.
