We are looking for an Electrical Estimator for a permanent position based with our client in Halifax.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview)

Salary is £45,000 per annum with car or £48,000 per annum without car.

This will be working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Estimating Core Competencies

Practical Knowledge - Buildability
Practical Knowledge of materials
Ability to interpret and follow client specifications, including WIMES
Ability to interpret and follow client drawings (civil and engineering etc)
The use of varied schedulesStatutory and non-statutory regulations such as:

IEE Wiring Regulation
Health and Safety at Work Act
The Electricity at Work Regulations
CDM Regulations
COSHH
Health and Safety Information including RAMS
NICEIC rules
Tax and VAT regulationsTechnical knowledge such as:

Use of Trimble / Amtech ProDesign
Cable Calculation / Discrimination Principles
Principles of Lightning / Surge Protection
Principles of Lighting / Emergency Lighting Design
Basic Understanding of ATEX Requirements
National Working Rules and Employment Law
Labour Fit Times
Working Within a Team (Liaising with Projects, Engineering & Site Electricians)
