ABC Teachers is seeking an Outdoor Educational Teacher on a non-qualified basis to work in an SEN School in Kidderminster on a full-time basis.

This role will be starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis.

About the role 

Lead engaging, safe, and educational experiences, including trips and visits.
Passionate about the outdoors and comfortable leading groups, ensuring participant safety through risk management and adherence to safety protocols, creating inclusive, supportive, and safe learning styles and ability levels.
Plan and lead outdoor educational programs focused on nature, ecology, sustainability and outdoor skills.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to improve program quality and keep accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and feedback forms.

About you: 

To be considered for the Outdoor Educational Teacher position, you will: 

Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs. 

Suitable qualifications Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Schools would be considered.

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students and managing behaviours using positive and restorative approaches.

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
