We’re looking for a Security Solutions Sales Consultant to support business development, pre‑sales activity and customer engagement. You’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development and Sales, partnering with customers from first conversation through to deal progression and handover. This is a dynamic role where your communication skills, commercial mindset, and ability to explain solutions with confidence will make a genuine impact on pipeline growth, win rates and customer confidence.
What you’ll be doing
Business Development & Pre-Sales Support
* Supporting the sales cycle from early engagement through to deal close
* Joining customer meetings to help shape solutions that meet needs, objectives and commercial value
* Contributing to opportunity qualification, progression and strategy
* Helping build and strengthen pipeline through insight, structure and customer-facing engagement
Demonstrations & Solution Storytelling
* Leading or supporting solution demonstrations
* Participating in customer site trials, exercises and validation sessions
* Clearly communicating the value and benefits of solutions
* Creating thought-leadership content that helps customers understand capabilities and outcomes
Commercial & Proposal Support
* Supporting proposals, bids and commercial submissions
* Drafting customer-facing materials, solution summaries and white papers
* Providing input into pricing, packaging and commercial positioning
Internal Collaboration & Handover
* Translating customer requirements into meaningful inputs for technical teams
* Ensuring a smooth handover from sales into delivery and support
* Feeding customer insights back into internal teams to support product and service evolution
Travel within the UK - and occasional overseas travel is required.
What you’ll bring
Essential
* Strong commercial mindset with experience in sales or business development
* Confidence engaging directly with customers in a consultative capacity
* Ability to present, demonstrate and clearly explain solutions
* Competence in translating technical concepts into business value
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Background or understanding of network security
* Existing SC security clearance
* British Citizenship (due to security requirements)
Desirable
* Experience in security‑focused sales, pre‑sales or solutions consulting
* Experience producing proposals, white papers or similar documentation
