CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join a manufacturing company, that provides products to the agricultural industry, at their site based in Teesside, on a temporary basis for 6 months. The salary for this equates to £26,000 pa.

Laboratory Technician main duties:

Preparing and analysing exploration drill core samples.
Keeping the Laboratory Manager informed of laboratory problems on a day-to-day basis.
Developing good relationships with team members and internal customers.
Following method statements and risk assessments.
Working with other laboratory staff, to determine potential efficiency and performance improvements to workflows within the department. 
Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Science, Maths and English.
Ability to handle large and heavy samples of drill core (~20 kg) on a regular basis.
IOSH Working Safely certificate (desirable).
