The Role

My client are a forward thinking electronics based manufacturer and provide bespoke solutions to multiple industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, and Hydro. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an electronics Buyer to take the lead on the procurement for the business, and really making it your own, working closely with production to ensure seamless flow of key components into the business.

Package

* Up to 40k salary – DoE

* Hybrid working (Up to 3 days at home)

Responsibilities

* Purchase all components and materials required for seamless production process

* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

* Negotiations with suppliers for contracts/prices/lead times

* Analyse market trends to pre-empt inventory requirements

* Analyse supplier performance and make changes where necessary

About you

* Previous procurement experience in a manufacturing/engineering company, electronics extremely desirable

* Knowledge of electronic components and related materials, metal, plastic etc

* Experience with MRP systems and strong excel package knowledge

* Strong negotiation skills
