Careers Advisors  - £15.94 per hour – Cambridge & Huntingdon

College is seeking 2 experienced Careers Advisors to support with their Careers Advice Cafes. 1 will be based in Huntingdon and 1 in Cambridge.

These are temporary roles to start on 26th August working the below dates and hours:

Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th August:                   9am – 4pm

Monday 1st & Tuesday 2nd September:               9am – 5pm

Monday 8th & Tuesday 9th September:                9am – 5pm

The ideal Careers Advisor will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance & Development
Experience providing high-quality impartial CEIAG to young people under the age of 19 and adult learners and job seekers.
Experience carrying out 1:1 careers guidance sessions with individuals at different stages of career development. 
Thorough knowledge of the post-16 and post-19 educational, training and employment progression routes.
Experience developing and delivering group careers interventions.
Understanding of the current issues and developments relating to education, skills and the job market.
