TimePlan Education is currently recruiting for a qualified Secondary Religious Studies Teacher to teach KS3 and 4 from September 2025. This is a full-time position based at a supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Woking.
The successful candidate must:
✔️ Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔️ Be passionate about teaching Religious Studies to secondary-aged students
✔️ Have experience planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Religious Studies lessons
✔️ Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
✔️ Be available to work full-time from September
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Teach Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
✔️ Plan and deliver inclusive, thought-provoking lessons that engage all learners
✔️ Mark and assess student work to track progress and provide meaningful feedback
✔️ Create a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that supports student development
✔️ Encourage discussion and reflection on ethical, philosophical, and cultural topics
