Class 1 HGV Container Driver Wanted – Port & Dock Work ?

We’re on the lookout for reliable, steady Class 1 HGV Container Drivers to join our team working on ongoing container contracts. If you know your way around the ports and docks and hold a dock card for Seaforth, don’t mind a bit of waiting time, and like working with a transport team that actually sorts things out when you call — this one’s for you.

Class 1 Container Driver – What You’ll Be Doing:

*

Collecting and delivering containers from ports, rail hubs, and local yards

*

A mix of short runs and longer-distance work depending on the day

*

Minimal handball — it’s container work, drop, hook, and go

*

Pre-planned shifts with steady start times Days & Nights Monday - Friday

*

Following port/dock procedures and doing the usual checks to keep things safe

Class 1 Container Driver – What You Get:

Regular, ongoing container runs (Occasional curtain sider)

*

Clean, well-maintained units

*

Weekly pay

*

Good PAYE or Sole Trader rates available

*

Waiting time paid (client depending)

*

A friendly team who actually answer the phone when you need them

Class 1 Container Driver – What We Need From You:

*

Class 1 (C+E) licence

*

Valid CPC & Digi card

*

Ideally holds a 'dock card' or willingnes to get one.

*

Preferably container experience (but we can discuss if you’ve done similar work)

*

Someone who turns up, stays safe, and cracks on
