Loader / Waste Operative

Salary: £13.70 per hour (£28,288 per annum), plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 15:30pm

Bank Holiday working (excluding Christmas) x double pay and a day off in lieu (TOIL).

Location: Military Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 3SP

What you'll be doing:

Undertaking waste collections, emptying bins or collecting bags from premises in a professional and timely manner.
Ensuring that any potential danger to yourself, other employees and the general public is minimised.
Ensuring the road is left clean and tidy following collections, including bins placed back on the boundary and all spillages cleared.
Acting as ambassadors on behalf of the company, ensuring that the client is treated respectfully and that all requirements are complied with where safe to do so

What we're looking for:

Essential:

Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the public
Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and focused. Desirable:

Prior experience in the waste industry.
Previous Loader experience preferred.
