KS1 Teacher – Primary School (Tower Hamlets, E2)

Location: Tower Hamlets, East London (E2)
Pay: £208.25–£320.49 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time, long-term / maternity cover / permanent options available
Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets (E2).

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons to children in Years 1–2, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and inspiring learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers looking for long-term work or agency-supported placements in East London.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, ensuring all children make excellent progress.

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Collaborate with staff and leadership to maintain school standards and ethos.

Requirements

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching KS1 pupils (Years 1–2)
✅ Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment expectations
✅ Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
✅ Passionate about children’s learning and development
