We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

· Establish new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.

· Managing and interpreting customer requirements.

· Effectively managing and converting customer enquiries.

· Presenting customer quotations.

· Offering after-sales support services

· Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of stock, ensuring the goods and stock flow safely, smoothly and consistently in and out of the warehouse facility to customers.

· Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies, as well as other departments such as procurement and customers service, to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.

· Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone.

· Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.

· Optimise storage space and plan future capacity requirements.

· Produce regular reports and statistics on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

· Have clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.

Requirements

· Full clean licence

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage.

· Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential) essential

· Excellent communication, and organisational skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
