Method Engineer

Location: Bridgwater

Pay Rate:PAYE or Umbrella £750-£800 per day

Contract: Long-term opportunity on a major infrastructure project

Clearance: Would need to be eligable for SC

Carbon60 are recruiting for a Method Engineer to join a major engineering and maintenance provider, delivering on one of the UK's most high-profile nuclear projects. This role offers the chance to be part of a large, technically complex site team, helping drive construction excellence from planning through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret design-released drawings and models using Navisworks.
Raise RFIs/FCRs to resolve technical queries, inconsistencies, or missing information.
Support Area Leads in preparing temporary works design briefs and liaise with all relevant parties to ensure constructability.
Develop and maintain Material Trackers and construction forecasts in alignment with programme timelines.
Create and update document trackers to support construction readiness, covering client, designer, and internal documentation.
Contribute to the development of Technical Risk Assessments, identifying risks and helping define mitigation strategies.Requirements:

Strong understanding of construction planning, temporary works, and site-based engineering delivery.
Proficient in Navisworks and familiar with reading and interpreting complex models and drawings.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across engineering and construction teams.
Valid CCNSG safety passport is essential.Interested?
