About the Role:

Are you a Buyer with experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Building Services? We’re looking for a motivated procurement professional to join a commercial team, supporting a high-profile project in the South West.

You’ll play a key role in managing procurement activities from supplier sourcing and tendering to contract negotiation and delivery monitoring. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a technically complex, large-scale M&E installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement of M&E materials, plant, and subcontract services

*

Evaluate supplier quotes and conduct bid analysis

*

Place and manage orders in line with project specifications and commercial targets

*

Support pre-construction and delivery teams in procurement planning

*

Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure value for money

*

Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and quantity surveyors

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience in a Buyer or similar procurement role within M&E / MEP / Building Services

*

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

*

Commercial acumen with an understanding of cost control

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

*

Proficiency with procurement systems
