Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a proactive, hands-on engineer to join our dedicated maintenance team and keep our production running smoothly.

The Role

As part of the on-site engineering team, you’ll be responsible for:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment
Fault finding, root cause analysis, and implementing long-term engineering solutions
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
About You

Time-served or qualified in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC)
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills — hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (FMCG, food, automotive, or similar)
A team player with good communication skills and a commitment to safe working practices
What’s on Offer

Competitive salary around £50,000
Choice of fixed nights (Mon–Thurs) or 4 on / 4 off days & nights
