Job Title: Senior Plant Fitter

We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Plant Fitter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys hands-on work and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on utility winches, trenchless utility equipment, and other small to medium-sized plant machinery.

*

Take a leading role in preparing equipment for customer demonstrations.

*

Occasionally operate equipment as needed.

*

Work primarily in-house, with occasional travel to customer sites.

*

Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced Plant Fitters.

*

Conduct pre-delivery inspections on both new and used equipment.

Required Experience and Skills:

*

Fully qualified Plant Fitter with a solid engineering background.

*

NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.

*

Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic plant equipment.

*

Valid UK Driving Licence.

*

Welding experience.

*

Self-motivated and flexible with a proactive approach.

*

Team player with strong communication, literacy, and basic IT skills.
