The Project Manager's role
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for delivering capital projects from inception through to completion. The Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams, manage client relationships, and ensure key milestones around cost, time and quality are met.
Working across the West Midlands, the Project Manager will be exposed to a variety of schemes ranging in complexity and value, and will have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors with regular client contact and structured support.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering multiple projects through all RIBA stages
Preparing and managing programmes, cost plans, and risk logs
Coordinating design teams and monitoring project progress
Administering contracts and supporting procurement
Reporting clearly to clients and senior stakeholders
Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to internal best practice
The Project Manager
2-5 years' experience in a consultancy or client-side PM role
Experience in at least one of the following sectors: healthcare, education, residential
Degree in a construction-related subject
Progressing towards or recently achieved chartership (RICS, APM, CIOB)
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, professional and collaborative approach
