Major Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join a renowned global manufacturing company in Trafford Park.

This is a fantastic chance to work in a fast-paced workshop environment with a company that values quality and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Working efficiently in a busy workshop setting
Installing hydraulic fittings and pipes
MIG welding
Using a range of hand, power, and air tools
Interpreting and working from engineering drawings

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

Duration: Temporary Ongoing (9-12 weeks, potentially longer)

Pay Rate: Competitive - negotiable based on experience

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:45 AM (38.75 hours per week)

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the Commercial Vehicles Industry
Strong skills in MIG welding and hydraulic installations
Ability to work effectively with hand and power tools
Experience reading engineering drawings
