Senior Service Coordinator
Salary: £31,208.29 – £36,990.39 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: York

About the Role
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Senior Service Coordinator based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide leadership and high-level administrative support, ensuring effective day-to-day service delivery within a busy healthcare environment.

You will manage and support a team of Service Delivery Care Coordinators, oversee administrative functions, and play a key role in improving processes. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Line manage Service Delivery Care Coordinators (1-1s, appraisals, performance).

Ensure timely completion of tasks and referrals on SystmOne.

Oversee daily administrative functions, resolving issues efficiently.

Provide induction, training, and ongoing support for staff.

Manage workloads and delegate effectively to meet deadlines.

Produce accurate reporting and data administration.

Handle complex patient enquiries and liaise with clinical teams.

Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality, and quality standards.

About You
We’re looking for a proactive and approachable leader with:

Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role.

Experience within the NHS or Primary Care.

GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C or above).

Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and SystmOne).

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

Desirable: A Level 3 qualification in Management (or willingness to complete).
