Children’s Home Manager – Runcorn
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum + performance bonuses
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and skilled manager to lead a children's home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You will play a vital role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care, promotes stability, and creates positive outcomes for every child.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the effective day-to-day running of the home
Lead, support, and develop a dedicated team of care professionals
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation
Foster a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment
Build collaborative relationships with external agencies and families
Manage budgets, staff rotas, and care plans with efficiency and care
Candidate Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role within a children’s residential setting
Strong understanding of safeguarding, care standards, and regulatory frameworks
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A passion for improving the lives of children and young people
