Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, until Christmas in the first instance (potential extension to the summer term)
Salary: £160 – £230 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Are you a passionate Design and Technology teacher looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic and inclusive inner-city school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design and Technology educator to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Leeds, starting in September 2025.

About the Role: This is a full-time position delivering Design and Technology to students across KS3 and KS4. The role will run until Christmas initially, with the potential for extension into the spring or summer terms. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging Design and Technology lessons that challenge and inspire students.

The School: This secondary school in South Leeds is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. It has a strong community ethos where staff have high expectations and pupils are supported to behave well and succeed. The school values creativity and innovation, particularly in practical subjects like Design and Technology.

What We’re Looking For:

* QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

* A degree in Design and Technology or a closely related subject

* Two recent references from educational settings

* A solid understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum

* A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and promoting student progress

* An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service

Salary & Benefits:

* £160 – £230 per day, dependent on experience, qualifications, and payment method
