A growing construction consultancy in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a range of office fit-out, commercial new build, and mixed-use regeneration schemes across the West Midlands.
With projects typically valued between £15m and £80m, the consultancy is looking for a confident Senior Project Manager who can lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain excellent relationships with clients, funders and developers. This Senior Project Manager position offers real career progression, with a route towards Associate for those keen to step into a leadership role.
Applicants must have prior experience delivering construction projects in a consultancy environment to be considered for this Senior Project Manager position.
The Senior Project Manager's role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of complex developments, working closely with internal cost and design teams, as well as external consultants and contractors.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Leading the end-to-end project lifecycle, from RIBA Stage 1-6
Managing consultant teams and procurement strategies
Chairing meetings and producing client-facing documentation
Contract administration under JCT and NEC
Identifying and mitigating project risks
The Senior Project Manager
6+ years' consultancy or client-side project management experience
Experience delivering commercial, office or mixed-use schemes
MRICS, MAPM or working towards full chartership
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Degree qualified in Construction or Project Management
