Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Nottingham (NG8)
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are proud to be working on behalf of a dedicated children’s care provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for a brand-new 3-bedded Children’s Residential Home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), located in the NG8 area of Nottingham.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a new service, shaping the culture, staff team, and care standards from the outset. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in registering and launching the home, while ensuring the highest levels of care and compliance are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead on the registration process and establish the home in line with Ofsted regulations
*
Manage the daily operations of the home and provide strong, consistent leadership to the team
*
Promote a safe, nurturing environment that supports children with EBD to thrive
*
Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and safeguarding requirements
*
Oversee care planning, staff development, and quality assurance processes
*
Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, external agencies, and families
Essential Criteria:
*
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or equivalent)
*
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and children’s residential care standards
*
Ability to lead, inspire and develop a new team
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Desirable:
*
Previous experience setting up a new children’s home
