If you have a background in engineering and enjoy getting stuck into the detail as well as leading teams, this one’s for you.

As Freelance Site Manager / Engineer, you’ll be managing a steel frame portal build with a hands-on approach. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing site operations, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to spec. But this isn't just management – your engineering experience will be essential for QA checks, verifying levels, and ensuring technical accuracy throughout the build. The role will also see you through to the finishing stages, giving you full project involvement from structure to completion.

This Freelance Site Manager / Engineer role is offered on a contract of up to 1 year, providing excellent stability and the chance to see the job through from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the project team to maintain momentum and solve on-site challenges efficiently. The project is already live, so we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and slot straight in.
