Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Southampton
Salary Scale: £12.82 - £13.50 per Hour
Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to students based on their learning needs and abilities.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to assist in lesson delivery and classroom activities.
Prepare and organize learning materials to enhance lesson effectiveness and student engagement.
Foster positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development.
Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with school policies to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

Genuine passion for supporting students and promoting their well-being in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and other staff members.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic school environment and handle varying tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure student success and overall school objectives.
Previous experience in a similar role such as experience with SEN are desirable but not essential.
