An exciting opportunity has opened for a talented and inspiring Art Teacher to join a creative and progressive school in Oxford. Starting in September 2025, this full-time, permanent role is ideal for an experienced Art Teacher or an enthusiastic ECT with a flair for visual arts and student engagement.

The school has a modern art department, a culture of high creativity, and an excellent record of GCSE and A-Level results in Art and Design. The successful Art Teacher will play a key role in continuing this success.

As a Art Teacher, you will:

Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with scope to teach A-Level

*

Plan exciting projects using a wide variety of media and techniques

*

Promote the development of creative and critical thinking in students

*

Support student exhibitions and contribute to school arts events

*

Work collaboratively with the Arts faculty and attend relevant CPD

*

Inspire students to consider careers in art, design, and creative industries

*

Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

The successful Art Teacher will:

Hold a degree in a relevant Art subject and QTS

*

Have a strong portfolio of personal and/or student work

*

Demonstrate high expectations and a passion for student success

*

Be eager to contribute to the wider creative life of the school
