Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Knowsley, Merseyside
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a patient, caring and committed individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Knowsley is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
The Role:
Provide individualised support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering differentiated activities.
Support pupils in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SENCOs.
Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or youth setting experience is welcome).
A calm, positive and flexible approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
A genuine commitment to supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
