Quality Inspector – Precision Engineering
Birmingham

My client is a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying high-quality components to demanding industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team.

The Role

*

Carry out inspection activities across incoming, in-process and final inspection

*

Program and operate CMMs using Metrologic / Metrosoft software

*

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T accurately

*

Ensure components meet customer and internal quality standards

*

Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues

*

Maintain inspection records and support continuous improvement activities

Key Requirements

*

Proven experience in a Quality Inspector role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment

*

Strong CMM programming experience using Metrologic and Metrosoft

*

Confident using a range of handheld inspection equipment

*

Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

*

High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
