Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Unit Bridge Manager to manage the delivery of bridge and structures programmes within a defined unit. The role involves overseeing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring the safe operation, inspection, assessment, and maintenance of network structures in line with national standards and technical approvals.

Essential Requirements

* Chartered Engineer status – MICE or MIStructE (mandatory)

* Proven experience in bridge design and assessment (maintenance experience desirable)

* Experience across roads or rail structures

* Strong project and programme management experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrable experience managing internal and external stakeholders

* Background within a local authority or public sector organisation
