Excellent opportunity to join a luxury new commission nursing home as Deputy Manager.
Reporting to the Home Manager, you will lead and support non-clinical teams ensuring that the home is achieving exceptional levels of care.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys driving improvements, leading by example, and promoting a culture of care, professionalism, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of regulatory standards and quality assurance
* Lead daily operational management and staff supervision
* Oversee induction, training, appraisals, and development of team members
* Audit and lead on quality and compliance
* Participate in meetings and reviews
* Foster strong communication with residents, families, professionals, and staff
* Support safeguarding practices, incident reporting, and compliance with the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
Requirements
* 1-2 years’ experience in a care leadership role (Deputy or Registered Manager level)
* Strong knowledge of CQC, Health & Social Care Act, and safeguarding practices
* Experience leading teams, managing audits, and improving service standards
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Strong understanding of governance, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance
