Technical Machine / Engineering Operative - Late Shift
Location: Ilminster
Salary: £30,000-£34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm-10:00pm
Friday finish at 8:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent (from day one)

A leading recruitment partner is currently working on behalf of a global nutrition manufacturer based in Ilminster to recruit a Technical Machine / Engineering Operative for their late shift operations.

Operate, set up, and maintain high-tech manufacturing equipment
Ensure products meet strict quality and specification standards
Accurately interpret technical drawings and production instructions
Utilise the internal ERP system for all production-related functions
Identify and troubleshoot machinery issues, taking appropriate corrective actions
Maintain compliance with internal procedures, food/feed safety regulations, and quality standards
Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency across production linesCandidate Profile:

Experience working with technical or mechanical machinery
A hands-on, problem-solving approach
A good understanding of IT systems, ideally with ERP software familiarity
