Job Summary

We’re urgently supporting a well-established NHS and Private dental practice in Nottinghamshire to recruit Associate Dentists or Locum Dentists for regular, ongoing work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, with flexible days, a stable patient base and excellent earning potential.

The practice is mixed NHS/private, modern and patient-focused. They are looking to expand the business.

Duties

* Provide high-quality NHS dental care in line with UDA targets

* Carry out routine dental procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, and preventive treatments

* Manage a list of NHS patients with autonomy and clinical freedom

* Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in accordance with GDC and NHS guidelines

* Deliver patient care in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring excellent chairside manner

* Liaise with practice staff and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

* Provide private treatments or upsell where appropriate

Skills

* GDC registered with active NHS Performer Number

* Sound understanding of NHS dental contracts and UDA-based work

* Ability to work efficiently and meet UDA expectations

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills – friendly and professional with patients

* Excellent clinical judgement and time management

* Comfortable working in a mixed NHS/private setting

* Experience using dental software systems (e.g. R4, SOE) is an advantage
