An established precision engineering business supplying critical components to global manufacturers is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their team. Known for producing ultra-precise packaging machine knives and wear parts, this company operates at the forefront of its industry, supplying innovative slitting solutions for high-demand sectors like tamper evident closures and food-grade packaging.

Due to a strategic shift in workload and investment in new turning machinery, they are looking for a confident CNC Lathe Programmer to lead their turning department, working closely with engineering and production to support continued growth and quality excellence.

? The Role:

*

Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc and Mazak/ Mazatrol control).

*

Producing low-volume, high-precision components to tight tolerances.

*

Leading and overseeing the turning function, supporting lean production and tooling optimisation.

*

Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and proactively problem-solving at the machine.

*

Assisting with new machinery onboarding and process improvements as part of a growing team.

?️ Machinery and Controls:

*

Current turning work on Doosan Lynx machines

*

New Mazak lathe or Fanuc-based machine being installed

*

Opportunity to get involved in machine setup, tooling strategy, and workflow development

✅ What They’re Looking For:

Strong experience with Fanuc and Mazak/Mazatrol programming is highly beneficial

Confident with one-off and mixture of low batch production

*

Comfortable taking ownership and leading the turning side

*

Good engineering mindset, team player, and proactive work ethic
