SEND Administrator (Support to Assistant SENCO)
Location: Gillingham
Salary: NJC D2, Points 4–11 (£24,404 to £27,269 pro rata, term time only)
Contract: Term time only, part-time/full-time considered
Start Date: September 2025
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive SEND Administrator to support the work of our Assistant SENCO in a thriving mainstream secondary school in Gillingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support for the Assistant SENCO and wider SEND team
*
Maintain accurate student records, EHCP documentation, and provision maps
*
Assist with scheduling and preparation for meetings with parents and professionals
*
Support with coordination of intervention timetables and staff deployment
*
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
What You’ll Need:
*
Strong administrative and IT skills (Word, Excel, SIMS/CPOMS or similar systems)
*
Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Previous experience in a school or SEN environment is an advantage but not essential
