Opportunities exist for Sub Agent with extensive experience leading and controlling a section of the works in a specific discipline like earthworks, RC Elements, structural steel, utilities, and external enabling works. Reporting to the Site Agent your duties will include the management of a team of Section Engineers and Site Engineers within same discipline.

Your duties will include –

Managing the engineering control i.e. -

The setting out from primary control

The provision of sketches detailing the setting out information installed

Maintain survey equipment

Quality

Production of as – built drawings & records

Completion of Quality Check Sheets

Maintaining accurate records – Daily Diary

Health Safety & Environmental

Production of Field Control Sheets

Carries out associated briefings

Carries out Field Inspections

Hazard Identification

Productivity

Measures actual materials used and compares with theoretical measure

Ensure the works keep to the Weekly Programme and record progress achieved

Commercial ·

Produces weekly measure. Take offs and schedules materials accurately

Understands what is classified as additional work

Requirements for this post are –

A tertiary civil engineering qualification (HND, BSc)

Extensive tier one delivery experience on large projects for UK tier one Contractors

Proven progression through the engineering ranks from Site Engineer upwards

Proficient in the delivery of heavy reinforced concrete structures, structural steel, earthworks, drainage and utilities.

Technically knowledgeable on concrete and reinforcing specifications and construction limitations.

CSCS MAP, SSSTS, First Aid
