The Role
Lead and manage the Geography department with creativity and strategic vision
Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons to A-Level and GCSE students
Foster a love for geography through excellent subject knowledge and innovative teaching
Support and develop departmental staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
Contribute to the wider academic and co-curricular life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Geography at A-Level in a UK secondary school (independent or maintained)
Strong leadership skills with experience of leading or supporting a department
Passionate about Geography with the ability to inspire students of all abilities
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
