Location: Cornwall

Salary: Competitive and negotiable, based on experience and qualifications. 37,000 to £45,000 annual

The Job role:

The Minor Works Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of minor works projects within the maintenance portfolio. This role involves managing contracts from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate minor works contracts across multiple sites within the Cornwall region.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth contract delivery.
Monitor project progress, control costs, and manage budgets to meet financial targets.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.
Negotiate contract terms and variations where necessary.
Prepare regular reports on contract performance and project status.
Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during project delivery.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in contract management within the construction or property maintenance sector.
Strong understanding of minor works and reactive maintenance projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation and quality standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
