This company are spread over two sites with ambitious expansion plans within the next year. Working on a variety of overhead cranes and lifting equipment through various industries. Progression is at the core of the business, with extensive training - demonstrated through the two site managers being former hands on Engineers.
This role will see the successful candidate travel around the local patch and inspect, service, maintain and repair a wide range of equipment. The successful individual should demonstrate experience within heavy industry, feel comfortable working at heights and keen to develop their mechanical and electrical skills.

The Role:
Travel to local client sites from Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30pm
Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment through a variety of industries
Fault find, diagnose and repair complex electrical systems including motor controls, variable frequence drives, PLC systems, contactors and relays
Troubleshoot, fault-find and solve a multitude of mechanical problems on equipment such as gearboxes, wire rope systems, brakes and hoisting mechanisms
Ensure health and safety is strictly enforced and adhered to, including working at height safety
Weekend overtime availableThe Person:
Experience as an Electrically biased Engineer within heavy industry
