Job Title: Senior IT Technician
Location: Gateshead
Salary: c.£37,000 per annum, depending on experience
Are you an experienced IT Technician looking for a new challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of an award-winning North East company for a Senior ICT Technician to join its team in this on-site role. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of ICT operations and play a key role in delivering reliable and secure technology services across the organisation.

The Role – Senior IT Technician
As a Senior ICT Technician, you will:
* Lead and provide advanced technical support across the business.
* Manage daily ICT operations, including hardware, software, and communications systems.
* Work with on-prem architectures and the Microsoft 365 Cloud.
* Take responsibility for operational services including backups, endpoint protection, and system health checks.
* Drive ICT projects and ensure compliance with information security standards.
About You
* Strong technical skills, specifically Microsoft 365 environment.
* Knowledge should include SharePoint, End Point Protection, Cloud Applications, Mobile Device Management, Information Security Management and Networking Principles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
* Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
