About the Role
We're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join our Northern Ireland team. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of Trend or Tridium systems who takes pride in delivering high-quality service and technical support across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
You'll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and optimising Building Management Systems to ensure buildings operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and associated control systems
Diagnose and repair BMS faults, both hardware and software
Interrogate, modify, and optimise control strategies to improve system performance
Provide technical support to clients and end users
Prepare detailed service and maintenance reports
Identify opportunities for system upgrades and energy-saving improvements
Work collaboratively with project, commissioning, and technical teams
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong working knowledge of Trend or Tridium systems
Ability to fault-find on both software and field devices
Valid CSCS/ECS site card
Experience in producing and managing a programme of works
Understanding of contract and sub-contract structures (advantageous)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
High attention to detail, self-motivated, and a strong team player
