We’re currently recruiting for a Temporary Lab Supervisor to provide cover at a food manufacturing site based in Station La, York YO43 4AN Yorkshire.

This is a 6-month contract offering 32 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day lab operations to ensure quality and compliance.

* Support and guide lab technicians in routine testing and sample analysis.

* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.

* Liaise with production teams to support product quality and process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

* Some previous lab experience is essential – supervisory experience is a plus

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.

* Good communication and organisational skills.

* Flexibility to work shifts as part of a rotating pattern.

Pay Rate: £15.50 – £17.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Start Date: ASAP.
