Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are on the lookout for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to teach engaging science lessons and make a real difference in students’ educational journeys.

Role Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and styles.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and support cross-curricular learning.
Job Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Science or related field.
Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
A genuine passion for science and inspiring young minds.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
