Logistics Manager - Glasgow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Manager to join a well-established construction main contractor. This is a key role on a significant development, offering long-term stability and the chance to work with a collaborative and forward-thinking project team.
About the Role:
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of site logistics to ensure the smooth and safe movement of people, materials, and equipment. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the site management team to ensure project milestones are met while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement site logistics plans in line with project requirements
Coordinate deliveries and manage vehicle movement on and around site
Oversee waste management, site access, hoarding, security, and welfare facilities
Manage and supervise logistics operatives and subcontractors
Collaborate with site and project teams to maintain efficient material distribution
Monitor and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and procedures
Work proactively to resolve logistical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to works
About You:
Proven experience in a similar logistics/site coordination role within a construction environment
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Previous experience using Logistics Management software tools
Strong understanding of construction site operations and health & safety legislation
SMSTS and CSCS card
Full UK Driving License
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work well under pressure
