Temporary Vacancy – Early Years Assessor (T Level) – FE College

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Assessor to join a well-established Further Education College on a temporary basis, 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday).

This role will involve supporting and assessing learners completing Level 2–3 Early Years T Level programmes within workplace settings.

Role Responsibilities:

Assess and support learners on Level 2–3 Early Years T Level qualifications

*

Conduct off-site workplace assessments with employer partners

*

Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback

*

Ensure learners meet qualification standards and portfolio requirements

*

Maintain accurate assessment records in line with awarding body guidelines

*

Liaise with employers and curriculum teams to support learner development

Requirements:

*

Relevant Early Years industry experience

*

Assessor qualification (TAQA / A1 / CAVA) – essential

*

Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification – desirable

*

Experience assessing Early Years qualifications at Level 2–3

*

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (role involves off-site visits)

*

Enhanced DBS on the update service
