Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking for a dynamic, hands-on role in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment? An established transport company with a growing operation across the UK, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to step in and take the reins of our day-to-day logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate transport jobs across the UK, managing diverse job types with adaptability and efficiency.

*

Manage all FORS requirements including tachograph downloading, driver files, and compliance documentation.

*

Operate our Transport Management System (TMS): scheduling jobs, communicating with drivers, managing diaries, and logging key information.

*

Take full ownership of transport operations — including long hours when necessary, handling issues in real time with customers and drivers, and staying cool under pressure.

*

Collaborate with the team to manage varied loads, container work, general haulage, shipping coordination, and on-site logistics.

A highly experienced Transport Manager who thrives in a busy environment.

Strong working knowledge of transport regulations, TMS systems, and FORS compliance.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with staff, clients, and external partners at all hours when required.
