The Role

As Sub Agent, you will play a pivotal role in managing the technical and planning elements of the TBM drive and associated civil works. Responsibilities include:

Developing detailed methodologies, work packages, and sequencing for TBM and associated civils.

Reviewing design information, producing clear method statements, and ensuring buildability.

Solving problems at source—creating workable, practical solutions for engineering, logistics, and interface challenges.

Conducting daily reviews of TBM progress, segment installation, materials flow, gantry operations, and tunnel logistics.

Leading coordination with subcontractors (tunnelling, M&E, civils, segment supply, logistics).

Overseeing documentation including RAMS, ITPs, permits, shift reports, and TBM assurance records.

Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme and quality requirements.

Supporting Site Engineers with technical queries, survey needs, temporary works, and detailed execution planning.

Managing interfaces across TBM, deep excavation, FRC structures, utilities diversions, and surface civils as required.

Proven experience writing detailed methodology, technical work packs, and construction sequencing.

Confident in generating practical engineering solutions in pressured site environments.

Experienced in managing subcontractors, overseeing daily coordination, and maintaining productive working relationships.

Background in heavy civils: FRC, deep drainage, earthworks, utilities, and complex temporary works.
