Candidates are required have a BSc and/or MSc in Electrical or Building Services Engineering and ideally have membership of MCIBSE or MIET.  Candidates are also required to have experience using Amtech, Revit or AutoCAD for low voltage switch panel design, fire safety systems, control panels and building energy management systems

You are also required to have a valid driving licence to attend site visits across the UK.    

As an Electrical Engineer, you will join a supportive team based in Shrewsbury to work with major retailers, Banks, pharmaceutical companies and energy firms to complete sustainable electrical designs using Revit, Amtech, Dialux, Relux and AutoCAD. 

You will also be expected to complete;

-Low voltage switch panel design.

-Fire safety system design.

-Building energy management system and control panel design.

-Design of Low-Voltage installation (RIBA 0-5)

-Electrical infrastructure design, cable sizes, load calculations, general arrangement and layout drawings.   

-Energy Efficient Solutions and Sustainability Statements.    

You will also be expected to deliver projects to time and budget, meeting Clients’ expectations and assist with site visits to meet and coordinate between internal and external design teams, clients, architects and contractors to discuss sustainable design concepts.
