Groundworks Contractor (12-Month Minimum Term)

We are a well-established groundworks contractor seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team and oversee commercial responsibilities across two active groundworks and civil engineering sites in Warwickshire.

This is a 12-month minimum engagement, with strong potential for ongoing work beyond the initial term.

Role Overview:

* Manage all commercial aspects of two groundworks projects

* Subcontractor procurement, measurement, and valuation

* CVRs, cost tracking, and forecasting

* Client liaison and contractual administration

* Site visits as required (both sites located in Warwickshire)

Requirements:

* Proven experience in groundworks (residential or commercial)

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts (ideally NEC or JCT)

* Able to work independently and communicate effectively with site and office teams

* Comfortable managing multiple packages and subcontractors

* Full UK driving licence and own transport

Contract Details:

* Start: ASAP or by mutual agreement

* Duration: Minimum 12 months

* Location: Warwickshire (site-based with some remote flexibility)

* Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
