Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for an exciting opportunity with a reputable and well-established provider? We have an excellent permanent position based in Chatham, overseeing an existing children’s home.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the home. You will ensure high-quality care, safeguarding, and development outcomes for children with emotional and behavioural needs. You will work closely with the leadership team, staff, placing authorities, and external stakeholders to maintain outstanding standards of practice and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care
* Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and progress tracking
* Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home
* Strong knowledge of children’s social care, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
* Leadership and team-management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
